Lutheran Health Network has selected LaCrystal Gordon to serve as chief nursing officer of St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Gordon has served as assistant CNO at the hospital since 2015 and has previously served as patient experience director and nurse manager at Lutheran Hospital.

Gordon has also served as a charge nurse and department education coordinator. She is currently a member of the 2016-2017 Leadership Fort Wayne Class and, in 2012, received the Indiana Healthcare Executive Network Healthcare Service Award.

Gordon has earned degrees from Indiana State University and Ivy Tech Community College, as well as her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from WGU Indiana.

Her appointment comes two months after Vince Green was named chief operating officer of St. Joseph Hospital.
