The Steuben County Economic Development Corp. is seeking a new executive director. The opening follows the resignation last month of former director Dave Koenig.

The position had been filled on an interim basis by consultant Mark Becker. However, the SCEDC says Becker has taken the position of deputy director of the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department and will leave at the end of this month.

The SCEDC did not give a reason for Koenig’s resignation. Board President Craig Ralston released a statement thanking Koenig for his service.
