SIA Supplier to Open Lafayette Facility

Subscribe NowAn Ohio-based product supplier for Subaru of Indiana Automotive is planning to open a new facility in Lafayette. Sanoh America Inc. will move into the facility in July and expects to employ about 60 people.
WLFI-TV reports the company will invest $5 million in the facility. Eric Carroll, vice president of operations for Sanoh America, tells Inside INdiana Business the company expects to hire about 40 workers by the end of the year and be fully staffed by 2019.
Carroll says the facility will be a satellite operation that serves as a direct supplier for SIA. Sanoh America supplies tubular products for automotive applications and has five production facilities throughout North America.
