The launch was announced by Governor Mike Pence and Secretary of State Connie Lawson. The first phase of INBiz deals with services within the Secretary of State’s office, with services from the Department of Revenue and the Department of Workforce Development coming later this year.
"INBiz will be the most comprehensive one-stop resource in the nation," said Lawson. "It will streamline and expedite the registration and compliance process, reducing the cost of doing business with the state. We will continue to add as many services as business owners demand."
Lawson’s office says INBiz includes state-of-the-art security features to protect business owners’ information. The project is being funded with $9.1 million that was included in the most recent biennial budget.
