LCI says the assets will be transferred to its Duncan Systems division in Elkhart. The company also acquired the rights to Atwood’s online ordering website that allows customers to configure replacement windows for their RVs.
"For more than 25 years, Duncan Systems has been a leading replacement glass provider in the RV and heavy trucking industries," said Scott Mereness, president of LCI. "When Atwood decided to terminate its replacement glass business, it was a logical move for LCI to purchase their remaining assets and integrate them into our current infrastructure at Duncan."
Duncan Systems President Brent Watson says the Atwood replacement window business is a "natural fit" for the company. LCI will be sending letters to Atwood customers to let them know about the changeover.
