The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a major military contract to Warsaw-based Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ZBH). The more than $380 million deal calls for Zimmer to produce various orthopedic products.

The deal is a one-year base contract with four one-year options. The work will be performed in Indiana with an expected completion date of April 25, 2021. Zimmer’s services will be used by the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia is the contracting activity.
