Ken Kosky with Indiana Dunes Tourism says the Hall of Fame looks for pizza businesses with at least 50 years of operation. Tony’s Place was founded in 1955 by Anthony Jengo, Sr. and his wife, Mary.
The Pizza Hall of Fame was established in 2005 by PMQ Pizza Magazine. Just one other Indiana pizza parlor, Bruno’s Pizza in West Lafayette, is included. Click here to learn more about the Pizza Hall of Fame.
