The Indiana Regional Cities Strategic Review Committee is set to meet at 1:00 p.m. to finalize its recommendations. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. Board of Directors will meet afterward to consider the committee’s report.
The effort aims to encourage counties, cities and towns to collaborate and market themselves together on a global scale. It is being funded through a state tax amnesty program that wrapped up last month and raised more than originally projected.
Representatives from central, east central, northeast, northern, northwest, west central and southwest Indiana made their presentations to the committee in October. The proposals include more than 400 projects totaling nearly $4 billion.
