Launch Terre Haute will host a networking luncheon Wednesday in the Vigo County city’s downtown. The event will offer an opportunity to see the co-working space as well as the major redevelopment of the historic Deming building.

The luncheon will feature a presentation by Inside INdiana Business Host Gerry Dick focusing on the strategic role more than 50 co-working and incubator spaces are playing throughout the state. Eric Seal from Indianapolis-based Core Redevelopment LLC will also discuss the scope of the $6 million Deming project.

Last month, Launch Terre Haute reached an agreement with The Deming to relocate to the eight-story, 140,000 square-foot building, which includes more than 100 apartment units and commercial and retail space.

The project was complete this summer. The Deming opened in the 1910s as the Hotel Deming.
