The bank will be led by senior vice presidents Chad Kozuch, Brad Cunningham and Mark Novak as the board looks for a permanent replacement.
Miller passed away Friday after a battle with cancer. She was 60 years old.
Statement From The Board of Directors of The Farmers Bank:
"The Board of Directors joins the shareholders, employees, customers and communities served by The Farmers Bank in mourning the passing of Karen Miller. We are all indebted to her for her friendship, leadership, and vision. We are thankful for the lasting legacy she has left all of us associated with The Farmers Bank. Because of Karen’s strong leadership, The Farmers Bank has an excellent management team which will continue The Bank’s commitment to outstanding customer services coupled with sound and prudent banking practices. Because of the Board’s utmost confidence in The Bank’s management team, The Board shall on behalf of the shareholders continue its careful and diligent process of the evaluation of candidates for the office of President. In the interim, the executive management of The Bank will continue as during Karen’s illness by the collaborative executive leadership of Chad Kozuch, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer/Information Security Officer, Brad Cunningham, Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Manager, and Mark Novak, Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. The Board is committed to selecting an individual who will continue and grow the success and culture of The Farmers Bank as a community bank for the benefit of its shareholders, customers, employees and the communities served."
